The Israelites prophesy that after 2017 or 2018, it will be the age of Messiah and something big will happen. Nowadays, disasters occur frequently all around the world and the situation of every country is in turmoil. Many people are watching the dynamics of the fulfillment of these prophecies. Recently, an unusual celestial event has happened, and caused an Internet uproar. That is, the fulfillment of Revelation 12 on September 23. As it was prophesied in Revelation, “And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars …” (Revelation 12:1). And this great wonder has occurred.
Astronomers have, after accurate calculation, ever claimed: On November 20, 2016, Jupiter, the King Planet, the symbol of the Planet of the King of the kingdom, will enter the womb of the constellation Virgo where it will remain and undergo a retrograde motion for 42 weeks, the precise length of the woman’s gestation period. And it will not exit Virgo until September 9, 2017. On September 23, the moon will be right at the feet of Virgo, and the sun will be in the constellation Virgo. Besides, the nine stars of constellation Leo, plus the three planets — Mercury, Venus and Mars which are in near-perfect alignment, a total of twelve stars, will appear above the head of Virgo. This rare and once-in-a-thousand-yearphenomenon is a fulfillment of the prophecy in Revelation 12:1.
Astronomers and some Bible scholars believe that the occurrence of this unusual phenomenon is not by accident. Next, great events will occur and, the years from 2017 to 2018 are bound to be an extraordinary period of time.
During that time, this thing received much comment on the Internet, and many people were looking forward to the occurrence of this phenomenon. What are Christians’ opinions? I have collected some novel opinions online to share with you.
A commenter wrote, “Witnessing the fulfillment of the verses from the Bible, the pastors and elders of the religious world repeatedly tell us, ‘The great disaster has come. The Lord will return.’ To be honest, the pastors and elders have said these words for many years. However, we just see the disasters grow greater year by year, and the verses prophesying the Lord’s return have been fulfilled, but we still haven’t welcome the Lord. The Bible says, ‘For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry’ (Hebrews 10:37). So I hazard a guess: The Lord may have long ago returned and begun to do the work of the last days to classify man according to their kind. If so, then we haven’t followed the Lord’s work, so it’s hard to say whether or not we are forsaken by the Lord. Our top priority is to find the Lord’s appearance and His work right away. If someone testifies that the Lord has returned, we should listen, seek and investigate carefully, and shouldn’t follow the pastors and elders blindly. God once said, ‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge …’ (Hosea 4:6). It can be seen that if we are foolish and ignorant, unable to differentiate, and we parrot the words of others, then we’ll be most at risk and will most easily be deceived. Even if we are deceived, we cannot blame anyone else, for God has long told us, ‘Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird’ (Revelation 18:2). ‘Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues’ (Revelation 18:4). The desolation in the religious world didn’t happen overnight. And the religious community has long since lost the work of the Holy Spirit. The religious chaos is also quite common. Seeing the actual condition, lots of leading sheep and good sheep in the church all looked for the church with the work of the Holy Spirit and finally many of them found the Church of Almighty God. How did this happen? This phenomenon arouses my curiosity. Could it be that the Church of Almighty God has the Holy Spirit’s work?”
Another person commented, “I’ve seen on Facebook the Church of Almighty God testifies that the Lord has returned, that His work has already been accomplished and that He has already made complete a group of overcomers. This completely fulfills the saying that God will make complete a group of overcomers before the disasters. In the past, in religious world, some exegetical scholars said, ‘The church will be taken up before the disaster.’ Now the four blood moons have come and the great disaster is about to fall, but we haven’t been raptured. Then they say, ‘It can’t be taken up before the disaster, but may be taken up during the disaster,’ and some say, ‘The church may be taken up after the disaster.’ Now, all over the world, only the Church of Almighty God testifies that the Lord has returned. It seems that it’s possible to say that the church will be taken up before the disaster. It’s just that the Church of Almighty God is raptured, while we’re still in the dark and foolishly waiting.”
A third person said, “These prophecies in the Book of Revelation prophesied the work that the returning Lord Jesus does. We really can’t interpret them at our will. In the beginning, when the Lord Jesus was born, many people then held up the coming of the Lord Jesus against that of a Messiah foretold in the Old Testament. When they found inconsistencies, they furiously resisted and condemned the Lord Jesus. After the Lord Jesus’ resurrection and ascent to heaven, many people realized the prophecies concerning the coming of the Messiah were all fulfilled in the Lord Jesus, without the slightest discrepancy. However, they had committed a great sin at that time and it was too late for regret. Nowadays, in this pivotal point when a new age is replacing an old one, we indeed need to pay attention to hearing God’s voice like wise virgins. Before, in China, many devout believers had believed in Almighty God. At that time, I heard they said, ‘I’d believed in the Lord for many years and read the Book of Revelation many times, but I didn’t know how the Lord would carry out His work in the last days. After I believed in Almighty God and read His words, I understand what the Revelation means, because Almighty God has unlocked all the mysteries in the Book of Revelation. Compared to Almighty God’s work, these prophecies have come true and there is no difference.’ After coming overseas, I sometimes read Almighty God’s words online. You don’t say, even I, who have never believed in the Lord, understand a little of the Revelation, for Almighty God’s words have stated it very clearly. But there are a lot of things I don’t understand. Due to my busy work, I didn’t take belief in God seriously. Now seeing these prophesies are fulfilled and listening to your sharing, I think I should also investigate Almighty God’s work.”
I have benefited a lot from the sharing of the brothers and sisters. What unpredictable changes will the occurrence of this phenomenon on September 23 bring? Let us wait and see. What’s more, astronomers have ever calculated that there will appear another unusual astronomical phenomenon on October 5, 2017, which will fulfill the prophesy in Isaiah 24:23. And that day is just the great day of the Jews’ Feast of Tabernacles. It is not by accident that these strange phenomena happened in succession. They are hidden things and none can explain. In a word, these two years will be an extraordinary period of time. Though we don’t know how God does His work next, yet as the above net friends say, at this critical moment, our priority is to look for and follow the footsteps of God. In this way, when God’s work concludes and the great calamity befalls, we may not be forsaken by the Lord or fall into disaster.
