Thoughts on Today’s Verse…

When the Lord Jesus came to work, Nathanael and the Samaritan woman, from His words, recognized God’s voice and knew the Lord was the coming Messiah and followed Him. The Lord promised us that He would come again. Now disasters are getting ever bigger. The day of the Lord has already come. We believers in the Lord are all anxiously waiting for Him to rapture us into the heavenly kingdom. The Bible says, “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come” (John 16:12–13). “He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said to the churches” (Revelation 2:7). From these words of the Bible, we can see that when the Lord comes again, He will speak to the churches. Therefore, only by recognizing God’s voice can we welcome the second coming of Jesus and be raptured into the heavenly kingdom. On the contrary, If we don’t know how to recognize God’s voice, even though the Lord appears to us, we are incapable of recognizing He is the Lord. So, in order to welcome the Lord, it’s crucial for us to learn to recognize God’s voice.

Then, how can we recognize God’s voice? After studying the Bible and looking to the Lord to seek, we have found 2 ways to recognize God’s voice from God’s word.

1, God’s word can reveal mysteries, and expose man’s corrupt substance, as well as man’s mind and thoughts.

2, God’s words possess His disposition, and have authority and power; God is as good as His word, and His word shall be accomplished.

Many people are publicly testifying online that the Lord Jesus has returned. However, some people believe that when the Lord returns, no one will know about it, because it’s recorded in the Bible: “But of that day and hour knows no man.” If it’s true that no one will know the time of the Lord’s return, then how can we welcome the Lord? What is the true meaning of “no one knows the day or the hour”? Has the Lord come back? Read this text to learn.
